almost, a previous owner was a smoker, and by the looks of it never opened the window, the roof lining in disgusting,

on a positive note, the seats are that brownybiegy tweed with the coloured thread running through it.

probably meant to be white:D

lol, i bought a rover hatchback years ago. i thought the headlining was meant to be yellow. started rubbing it with turtlewax upholstery cleaner. lo and behold it was actualy almost white underneath. i knew the previous owners and the fags were never out thier hands. makes you wonder what colour thier lungs are ::)

thankfully halfords has a 342 on car cleaning chemicles.so were going to attack it today. ::)

got the alternator fixed, ended up with one with a plug fitment at the back, ?25, so the D+(diode wire, brown and yellow) goes to the small wire on the plug the white wire(revs) goes to the w post bolt and the b+(big wire) goes to the B+ post bolt. So i still have the 2 big wires on the plug unused, im guessing they are also B+ ???....  :-\

well, there is only 3 wires, but theres...... 4 attatchment points(5 if you consider theres 2 big wires in the plug:P)

I think its just from whatever car it came from. The guy had an internal fan type from a LR Dsco, but it had a multigrove fitted on it, and he didnt think you could swap the pulleys over.

i just need to tighten up the belt a bit more as theres a inch 'wobble' on it at the moment.
