Lol. Anytime mate. I done a disco 2 today. Easy when your used to it. How much rust is there.? Sills. Inner wings. Boot floor are all bad on a disco.

the boot floor has some surface rust on the inside, will wire brush it, then paint it, but the rail that the  middle seats pivo on to fold them up, is very rusty,

its very strange, at the rear there is hardly any,  but its showing a few holes along that point i mentioned.

Time to play with my welder:P

yeah its a ark welder, 60-130 amps iirc.

can i practice on yours?

was thinking bout going to the local scrappies and asking if i canbuy a scrap piece of metal, practice laying beads down, then take it back for a few quid less than i paid for it...

Emmmmmm. No. Lol. Good idea for the scrap though. Go for it. Remember to keep your metal clean for a good weld.
