I have very recently purchased a 1993 Land Rover Defender 90 200tdi which I took Part in the Help for Heroes 4x4 European rally in in 2012 as Navigator, I'm doing it again in June this year. I've never driven a Land Rover before but it is vital for my fundraising ( have raised over £23,000 in almost 10 months) I take all my expenses out my own pocket and the 90 has just had to have new gear box, transmission, clutch, and many other bits for it's MOT, Still a few items required, electrics are scary and the designer burnt orange spots on the body work need attention :) (been told it's a Land Rover that's to be expected lol)

GEMM 4X4 has recommended me to join the site for advice and help with off roading. Looking forward to the meeting members on the 29th March.
