Axle breather removal

My front axle breatherpipe has snapped off flush my 110. All that's left is a plasic flange. How does this fit into the the axle, can i just use an easy out to unscrew it or is it not threaded?

Ok, I thought so seeing as all te kits are 1/4"bsp. But just wanted to check seeing as there are no nuts on either axle. I got easyout's.

Before I take the easy out to the breather - The td5 has a pushfit fitting.
(Not my axle)
How do you remove the pipe from the fitting?

hi ruari
Push the pipe downwards then push the collar (red in the pic) down at the same time, whilst holding collar down pull pipe upwards i use the open end of a spanner to hold the collar down.
Cheers
