Shock absorbers for expedition 110
« on: December 29, 2011, 11:13:24 AM »
hello

I'm rebuilding my 110 on its original (now galvinised) chassis. I'm about to think about refitting the axles and was wondering what kind of shocks to put on. I am going to double up in the back ( if anybody has tips on how to fit the bottom shock mounts to the axle). What kind should I fit? Standard, gas (like decarbon) or something like terraferma bigbores?

Matt

Just see that I haven't mentioned that I am rebuilding it as an overlander.

Ive got the Pro comp es 9000's on my disco and they are lovely. Only had them on about 6 months and aside from hitting a jockey wheel at 60mph and it denting the housing on one of the rear ones they have been totally sound.
