"Minor"?

At one point you had the whole steering rack out?

If that's "minor", what's a proper issue then? replacing the gearbox?

Well done to Car 50. The comps have been a bit drab this year without the Drysdales to provide the sideways entertainment but you and your co-pilot certainly made me chuckle with a huge tank-slapper downhill to J5 hairpin. I could tell by the giggles that you both enjoyed it too. Hope you manage to get to more events.

Calum.

Car 50, we've been there! First event for us at Glendearg last year, 4 tyres and 1 wheel later and the words were inner tubes and 40psi. Since then we've been sorted...  Just broke other things since. Great weekend, despite a little off track excursion or two. Thanks to all the marshalls who dragged us out of places we shouldn't have been and a special thanks to Lee B. who stopped on one of night laps after seeing us dissappear on two wheels down a little slope  ;)

See you all in a few weeks.

Hi

I was marshalling at J11 and saw the above happen. I didn't think you would get back onto the track from there, that hole was a bit of a swamp. I went in there to get the arrows back. We should have a word with the landowner, his cows make a right mess of the land ;D
It was a great weekend with lots of action.

Calum & Co (Car 50) also had some scary moments at J9. Have you got any tyres left.

see you next time

Geoff

Thanks for the compliments about my photos.

I used a Canon 7d body with a 100-400mm Canon lens for the ones shown here, I also used a 24-105mm for the paddock shots. However the camera is not what takes the picture ;) Some of my best pics have been taken with a compact!
