A great day out at Balquhidder, weather was great and good to see some new members about. Was eventful before I even got to the start .... had a slight vibration which had only started when I put my mud tyres on again, must be a wheel weight lost surely  :-[ :-[, coincidence ..... no way ...... then bang  :o  :o and I'd left my front propshaft 50 yards back down the road. Still I had 2 wheel drive for a day out, how many do you need.

Photos here of varying quality from Paul my resident camera man.

Great day out and some great pictures and some great new friends.

Couldnt have asked for better weather.  Had a mild panic 10 miles in when the Autobox lights were on, turned out to my be my furry travelling companion resting her head on the mode switch (confusing the ecu)..... phew..... panic over

Thanks for a great day, it was good meeting new faces and getting to know existing members better.  Can't wait for the next one.  The link is for the pictures that my father in law took, not too bad despite the bumps!!!! (there is one of a nice one of a wiper arm!!).

Dave - your not having much luck at the moment, hope the repair is not too expensive...

I'll see you at Torrance this Saturday coming if your there for the TYRO.

Thanks Again

Cracking day out - Scottish scenery at its best - great photos guys. Was good to meet up with folks from the forum in person too. Family and the in-laws enjoyed it as well, and it was all rounded off with venison burgers on the barbie when we got home. Thanks again to the organisers.
looking forward to the next one - same weather again please!

Our first GRR too and thought it was great. A big thank you to the organisers, landowner and everyone that made us feel very welcome. We're hoping to get ourselves along to more events and will make sure to plan our trips down to coincide with these in the future. Once we've figured how to get our pictures off the cameras we'll get them uploaded too. Thanks again to the organisers, I don't know of any other activity for ?5 that would be as enjoyable.

Here are the photos we took:

Hi.  I'd like to add my thanks to everyone for a most enjoyable day, especially to Peter for his patience in standing by our overheating truck.  New radiator & kenlowe fan being fitted, carb overhaul to follow.  Appologies for any delay caused to tour by frequent bonnet lifting. Nigel.
