2010 Range Rover SAT NAV Software
« on: May 03, 2015, 10:58:24 AM »
Hi,

I need to upgrade the maps on my 2010 Range Rover.
The dealer here (Abu Dhabi) tells me they need to apply for a code and it will cost me approx. 450 pounds.
Has anyone done this, sounds expensive to me.

Cheers

Geoff

Hi Geoff
I've just bought a 2002 Range Rover Vogue with a faulty DSP Amp.  After a lot of searching the forums it seems that everything for the audio/sat nav systems are expensive.  So I wouldn't be surpised at the price they quote.

All the components seem to start at around £300 second hand, 500 plus vat reconditioned and upwards of this for new stuff.  The problem  is that it's all integrated and interdepenent - so here's hoping you don't develop a hardware problem.  Cheaper buying a plug in Tom Tom

Hi Duncan,

I'm using a Tom Tom, and you really need it here.
Looks like I'll need to give in and upgrade the maps

cheers
