Just renewed with Adrian flux stung for £970 but covered winch, snorkel and future station wagon conversion , the things I do for my Landy can't wait until next years renewal.

That is what I have as well......... and chassis.

Gene, there were companies that wouldn't even quote when I mentioned the chassis

Goes to show they have no idea what they are talking about a lot of the time.

Ask 1st Central for a quote as well. They covered my 92 Def110 for £164 which I thought was quite good. I change insurer every year to get best price through introductory offers as a new customer

all good and well with getting cheap quotes , the true test is when you make a claim. That is why farmers go for NFU they pay out without to much quibbling .Just look at the agri scrap that is for auction on copart. They look for every way out of paying up when you make a claim.

Agreed, NFU have been pretty decent to deal with any time we've had a knock - although they have now subbed out their claims assessment to some "specialist" company. As always, don't take their first offer of settlement, be prepared to produce receipts and evidence from AutoTrader etc of what a similar vehicle is worth.
