Just had my renewal through from Adrian Flux, £325, so tried Shearwater £194 fully comp "off roaders special" with loads of modifications. Just need to sort out a few details but looking good.

Also worth trying Lancaster.  I've got mods listed for a pretty good price.  Limited to 6k miles per annum, though.  Alan.

Lancaster are quite good, but still more, £215 with agreed valuation and 5000 mile limits. The thing that seems to limit the amount of compaqnies I can go to is the Galvanised Chassis, a lot won't cover it.

But you are old Gene.  ??? ::)

It was the big long list of modifications that really bumped it up, especially the chassis, just glad I didn't just accept the renewal, I had originally thought it was reasonable so thanks for the first few responses.  :)

Why did they think the Chassis was "modification" ? Its a one-for one replacement. I don't think I'd even mention it, it affects neither performance nor safety. NFU didn't blink an eye about the new chassis, nor the winch.

That is what I have as well......... and chassis.

Gene, there were companies that wouldn't even quote when I mentioned the chassis
