The third round, halfway mark in the 2013 Scottish Comp Safari Championship, will see us return to the popular Forrest Estate in the Galloway Hills!
With many thanks to Brian Hilditch and his team, we have a fantastic two day event taking place in his front garden at Forrest Estate, near St John's Town of Dalry on the 15th & 16th of June
This is the only event we run that is in the new "Safari Plus" category, and we will be taking full advantage of the higher speeds - so bring your dancing shoes and be prepared to take your cars to the limit!
This is not an event to be missed and the site is used by both the British Cross Country Championship and the Hill Rally, so please let us know if you are attending as entries are limited to 30 vehicles.
A number of competitors have already noted their intent to enter, so ensure you contact Sharon Scott (07515 789 100) to book your place!
The set up will take place on Friday 14th June from 11.00am and camping is available on site from Friday night, in the new large level hard standing service area. Please bring everything with you, including water! Strictly no barbeque's or fires allowed, this is a high fire risk time on the estate and we won't get back if we burn it down!
Times: Both days - Scrutineering 8:30-9:30. Marshals in place by 9:30, drivers briefing 09:45, and first lap at 10:00
We anticipate 15 laps over 2 days
Entry fee £100.00 and the all important 2 prizes for the marshals draw!
Sunday Entries
As with all SCCC events, there is a Sunday Entry for those who cannot make the full weekend event: half the number of laps, and half the cost, however you need to book your place, as there is still a limit of 30 cars for the day.
