Hi,
I'm rebuilding a 1971 series 3 LWB SW and am trying to make it as original as I can (with the exception of the V8) and am wondering about the window locks. When I look into door tops (I may need a couple) the series 3 has a square hole below the window for a plastic window lock and a series 2/2A has the 2 screw holes above the window for the aluminium push/turn button.
My SW (which looks pretty original) has the aluminium push/turn buttons on all windows (including those in the very back) but it also has the square cut outs for the plastic window locks but these all have plastic covers on them.
What do you think it did have when it came out of the factory?
Thanks
D
