SCCC - Round 2 - 18th & 19th May - Drumclog
« on: April 15, 2013, 10:59:28 AM »
Following the successful opening round at Auchentorlie, we can now look forward to round two of the 2013 BRITPART Scottish Cross Country Championship and this sees a return to the ever popular site at Drumclog in South Lanarkshire on 18th & 19th of May

This promises to be an interesting couple of days racing as our friends from the Northern Off Road Club will be joining us for the weekend! This event will count towards the 2013 NORC Championship and we extend a warm welcome to all our friends from the south who are making the journey up!

Drumclog offers fast, open racing over rolling fields and moorland, with some challenging drops, climbs and even a river crossing or two!
With 15 laps scheduled over the weekend, you can look forward to around 70 miles of racing!

The open nature of the site will give everyone a great view of the action and as the spacious service area is close by, the rest of your team can see the racing too! One of the best sites for Marshaling at too as the open views of the course mean plenty of action for all our Marshals to see. If you can assist with marshaling on any of the sessions, please give Jules Spicer a call on 07800 748891, all help will be greatly appreciated!

Our Championship caterers, will be on site all weekend to keep everyone well fed and watered with a delicious variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
