Does anyone have workshop space to rent in Edinburgh? I'm going to be busy this spring and summer with a rolling Series 109 station wagon restoration and need somewhere indoors to work. The major job will be a rub down and respray. Own compressor and tools. Tidy, reliable and female.

As a thought, a friend of mine with a Rib was looking for winter storage, he eventualy found a disused factory that rented him space at £40 a month, it also has caravans and food vending type vans in. The place is huge and covered and would suit your needs if it weren't near Paisley, may be worth looking for a similar thing near Edinburgh.

Thanks Dave, yes that would do the trick if I could find one around here. It has got to be close enough so that I can nip along for three hours or so in the mornings to work on the wagon. There is plenty of stuff available 20+ miles out of town, but it takes too long to get there. Bah!

Total shot in the dark but the man who services my motors is John Goodlad, at Dalziels Garage and MOT Centre in Leith. (0131 554 5909/ 1772)

I doubt he has space BUT he comes from a family of LR racers**, knows his way around LRs and he might be able to put you in touch with someone who could help.

I know it's not much but as a last resort ...
