My Discovery was going great until the big end on the 3rd piston has gone. Replacement shells did not fix the problem therefore i suspect the crank itself is knacked. I am selling her complete as i feel that a mechanic with time should be able to get her going again.
I have loads of receipts (as below) and am looking to sell her complete. Offers around £750 invited.
New bearings, stub axles and seals on the back axle however discs will need repacing for MOT.
Front swivels were rebuilt approximately 20k miles ago with new CV joints etc
4 General Grabber AT2 235/70R16 tyres on Landrover boost alloys. Tyres have an even 4mm (min) tread left on all four alloys. Spare is a boost alloy also with Pirelli Scorpion S/T tyre.
New head gasket 5000 miles ago
New fuel pump, power steering pump, starter motor, rear springs, glow plugs.
Reconditioned injector pump approx 30k miles ago
Seat covers for all seats (could do with a wash!)
No problems with the gearbox or transfer box. Prop shaft UJs have been done within the last 40k.
I would invite any interested parties to come an inspect the vehicle. She will need to be towed or trailered.
