wanted 9/16 unf series wheel nuts

 hi all

looking for large 9/16 unf wheelnuts to fit wheel spacers, they are 27mm socket size with a 9/16 unf thread.

sorry add was not very clear . i should have said its for a 1967 series 2a i am sure its a 9/16 unf thread . most 27mm nuts are m16x1.5 but series 2a did come with 27mm nuts with 9/16 unf thread, but most are 15/16ths nut . as most wheel spacers are for m16 studs i was worried about the smaller nut wearing through or am i just over engineering it  ???. many thanks for the help shug...

These nuts are what I fitted to my 2a, (they also fitted the Disco1 when I put on steels) but thats not to say the axles on the 2a are original they might be s3 ive not checked the part numbers.

  If you have the ser 11 axles ,hubs and wheels then the standard nut is the double taper 216361.

   If you put different wheels onto these same hubs and axles.........like Defender wheels or others , you still need the same nut but with the bigger head ,in case they pull through.  This nut here is needed.  http://www.paddockspares.com/catalogsearch/advanced/result/?sku=576103.

 It still has narrow dia hole for early studs.   Anything else like ser 3 hubs and you are onto the links that FPF posted.

a very kind wee lass at paddock went down to there store to check . it fitted on the series 2 stud [9/16] spot on . at 39p each it wont break the bank 20 new ones on there way. cheers shug...
