Hi Everyone

At drumclog at the weekend a was invited to attend a event in larne just a small trip oversea to Ireland. As the irish have been good to attend our events in the past few years i think it would be good to go and give them some support in return.
To cut down cost they have offered for us just to stick the comp motors on the ferry as they will arrange transport to the venue as its only 5-6 miles to the site from the ferry port it is a old quarry site with 5mile lap it should be a good event

The event will take place Sunday 27th May. Scrutineering at about 10 and event starts at about 11 and is usually over at about 4.They are quite relaxed and aim to get competitors running and having fun.

Thanks for this Lee. Did not want to be rude and put it on forum myself :)

All welcome

3 or 4 mile lap and 8 laps in day.

If we get numbers can easily put in a split and merger (see we learnt from Scottish Hillrally) and get about an 8 mile lap.

Site runs in all weathers.

If enough interest we will run a 2 day event next march. Camping on site with a social club that does food and drink

Just checking to see if any of you confirmed for sunday.

Just to keep interest here is a few videos of the site we are using. Looks like an 8 mile lap for sunday if we get started early enough :)

Sorry you couldn't make it over was a brilliant day and great fun.

Lots of sun, speed and good crack

First video is in car of Gareth and with the dust a bit hard to see but more to come :)

Let me know if you would be interested in a 2 day comp in March to see if we have the numbers to justify. Probably Sat stage, sat night stage and then a sunday stage.

Have to agree with V6Cosworth..However I need to rename the venue.....

Welcome to Haszard County, (not spelt wrong, just avoiding copyright) ;)

Now some may remember the General Lee, but on Sunday the General was the one with the time clocks. (Thanks laura and Robert   :thankyou: )

We do of course have our own characters,

Grampa George Duke

Mark an Alan Duke

Vinny Duke

Mark Duke

Stig Duke

Scott Duke

And of course our very own Boss Hogg

Now the story line involves some moon shine being dropped off at high speed,

Now just the good ole boys,

Never meaning no harm

But of course if the mountain

Dont get them

Then the law never will......
