Greetings. My son has recently purchased the "90" registered CDZ 5594. It appears that the vehicle spent some time in Perth. Does anyone recognize the vehicle which allegedly came from Northern Ireland?

Such a modern vehicle compared with my 1962 series IIA which has been my only vehicle since 1971!

Thank you, Derek.

Welcome to the forum.
What area are you in?

I couldnt think of having seen the Registration Number about, i usually pay attention to Defenders & Reg numbers, so i looked it up.
Is it Grey as it comes up on the DVLA site?

Says 'Manufactured 1987',
 and 'first registered 1992'
Is that when you think it got Registered in NI, 1992 ?

Good afternoon.

I am in Birmingham, the 90 was purchased from Craddocks two weeks ago, we await the V5 to see what it will tell us. At Craddocks we saw that the previous keeper was in Crossford, Dunfermline. I think that from the modifications on it an enthusiast owned it.

I can confirm what you found from the DVLA.

Thank you for your help, Derek.

might be worth pm'ing "piper5" on here as he may know the vehicle as he is reasonably local to its previous owner
Started out with nothing,
Still have most of it left

The Reg is certainly an NI one, not unusual to see NI plated LR here, given the short ferry crossings etc. Lix Toll used to sell a lot of NI plated vehicles, bought at auction over there I believe.

;) V5 arrived, sixteen previous owners. In Crossford for only a few weeks. I guess that we now have to follow the V888, son is still delighted with the 90 but he has removed a lot of redundant wiring.
Thanks to all of the SLROC members for their help.
Regards, Derek.
