So after many years (3 to be exact) my land rover is almost ready for its MOT (some wiring to fix, brakes to bleed and a throttle cable needed).Anyone have any recommendations on key points land rovers fail on? Pictures will follow once she's had a wash!ThanksThomas

I don't now if you mean a nipple needs soldered on, or you mean one of the Amal type throttle ball joints?
quick fix is electrical terminal block, cut the block out of the plastic, use it as a nipple on the end of the cable.
If you go to an old style cycle shop they might still stock solder on nipples that you can solder on yourself.Duncan
