Hey..
Not sure if this is the best bit of the forum to post this question....
I have just received my renewal for this years insurance.. which is outrageously doubled to nearly £1000
I have a 1995 300tdi 110..   And do limited mileage....
Can anyone suggest an insurer that maybe specializes in landys..

Thanks
james

To name a few.
NFU, Adrian Flux, Lancaster, 2Gether, Footman James, Sureterm Direct,
my favourite,
www.premiumchoice.co.uk
But that is the '4x4 offroad policy', rather than a 4x4 policy.
Phone these rather than do online quotes/checks,
but if a standard vehicle, maybe try Comparison sites in the middle of the night,
these can throw up some real bargains if you are 'Buying now'.

I'm with NFU but just went with Footman James for the Lightweight as a "second car". SLROC Club membership got me further discount as well - need to quote your membership number. .... £104, unlimited mileage, green lane cover etc etc - and thats after writing off the 90 year before last.
If its not broken you are not trying hard enough....

Just went with Lancaster fully comp for wife & myself, mods stated for less than a quarter of what you're stating.  That having been said, haven't had a 'moment of truth' (claim) so just feels like a bargain just now...  Knew their stuff on the phone re. LRs.  Good luck, Alan.

I can recommend Lancaster - and their European recovery service is superb, as we discovered last year when our SIII ate her own rear diff.

Fully comp £140pa

Hi Folks...
Thanks a million for the help with suggestions...

I got a great deal from Lancaster... £270 fully comp, quite a bit better than the £901 renewal I was quoted....
cheers
james
