I've had both my landies through several mot tests, at different places, with not a mention that bump stops are missing (some are still there).
Do "normal" cars have bump stops? (i cant remember seeing any before)

Think you need them for but very few garages check and normal cars sometimes have a foam or rubber cone in the shockers as bump stops

popped into mot place today and they are not required at the moment but will be in future.

If they're all missing then they can't fail it but if you have one missing then they could technically fail it on the missing bump stop, quirk of the mot.
