I started by browsing through the smalls looking to trade-in my Disco for a Defender and come across two suitable Defenders " Well as i first thought anyway !!"
So i called the mobile no. with a guy named James answering " Aye what who is it !!!" not the answer i was expecting from such a Legit looking website ?!
I then told the guy i was lookingh to trade my Disco in against one of his Defenders and take advantage of their advertised "Welcome Finance" that they were offering/advertising on their website and the guy James replied yes no problem ! so i said i will be up in the morning travelling from Bathgate West Lothian to them in Blairgowrie some 120mile round trip.
The next morning i set off around 07:30 and arrived in Blairgowrie outskirts around 09:30 and stopped and phoned both their mobile no. and landline no. to no avail so i left messages with no reply.
I hunted around and by luck i found them and chapped the house door as where they run the buisness from, no answer so waited 5 mins and tried the bell again when eventually a woman come out and said can i help and sorry we are sleeping late today !!!
I said i will go and grab a cup of tea and a roll down the town and let you all get up and with it, i returned some 45mins later to speak with the father of the guy james i spoke with the day before. we spoke about two of the Defenders i was interested and i said i am as i told your son yesterday looking to trade in and take some finance out ?! i think i mentioned the finance thing about 4 or 5 time in the next 30-40 mins of looking at the cars with the guy saying yey uh hu yey uh hu then finally i said well i want this one so can we check the finance for me only for the guy to say and i quote " We dont do finance here !!!!!!!" to my stunned disbelief and attonishment !! i said havnt you been listening to me and your son told me only yesterday that you do finance ?!! he replied no not here sorry !! i said but its on your website that you do arrange finance with a company called "Welcome Finance" only for him to say o aye that should have been taken of the site a while ago!!!. I said ive just spent £35 on fuel and a round trip of 120 miles and 6hrs of my time coming here for you to tell me that ??!! He said nothing and walked away into the house and closed the door !!!
Please be aware of these COWBOYS if you value your time and money as they are nothing short of Banjo playing sheep sh.... Bas..... who are so unprofessional it defies belief !!!!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS IN MY OPINION !!!!!!!!!
