Just thought I'd pop up a little note of thanks to Callum at C Ford Engineering (Linlithgow). He did a whole load of work on the back end of my disco (heavy duty rear axle, diff, propshaft, wheel bearings, calipers & brakes) and I was very pleased with the work and the price (discount for SLROC members
).
I'm not connected with him or the business in anyway but being fairly new to Landies and totally useless mechanically, it was great to find someone who was willing to let me hang about and try to learn something, hanging about also meant I could see what the issues were rather than having to just take someone at their word.
Callum took the time to explain things in a way even I could understand and Ill definitely be back (if I win some money, I might even get a trayback or something made) :-D
Hope I'm not breaking any rules by putting this up, just thought it was nice to be nice and might help out someone like me, who wouldn't have an idea of where to start looking for a garage.
