An absolute huge thanks to the organisers of this GRR, fabulous day out :)

Fantastic scenery, great tracks, some muddy too!

Would love to do this one again - minus the crabbit five year old ::)

Have plenty of piccies - will upload later.

Here's the first of the photos from a great day out, thanks to all who organised and a great turn out as well. Although Gene, where was the car park attendant at yours, you could have made a few quid!  ;)

...and thanks from Gene and myself to everyone that turned up today and made it such a successful event - most we've ever had for a GRR by a long way. Everyone I spoke to seems to have enjoyed it - just sorry that I didn't manage to catch up with more people during the day after the slightly hectic sign-on process.
Great to see so many new members (as well as the old ones!) -hope that you enjoyed your first event and that we'll see you at next GRR on 29th April. There's plenty of other events before that though including the driving day on 1st April - check out the calendar, and keep an eye on the website.
Challenge for us now is how we match the standard set today on 29th April.
Still looking for ideas / suggestions of locations for future GRRs - anyone??
thanks again, Alan

This has to be the best ever GRR.
Much more enjoyable in the small groups rather than a long convoy, we just didn't realise how many memebers turned up. Well done everyone for supporting the club.
It was also great to have the optional slighltly sections which were slightly more challenging.
Top Marks to Gene & Alan and everybody else who help  to set up.

Hope to make the next GRR

Top day out!

Met a fellow geocacher on the way to Brig O'Turk, saw some nice bits of the world I hadn't seen before, and got winched backwards from a track that had turned to chocolate pudding.

(For the record, although it was my 110 that got stuck, it wasn't me who stuck it there!)

Thanks to the man with the winch, whose name I neglected to ask. Naughty me.

Tom

A big thank you to Alan & Gene for what was one of the best drives I've ever done. I was enjoying myself so much on the more "challenging" sections I almost shouted "is ma hub through".
Also thanks to everyone for the great pics :)

Regards
