IGNITION BARREL PROBLEM ON LR 90 300 tdi 1996

HI guys i have a little problem with my ign barrell when turned to the left to switch off the ignition it stays on and i have to use the fuel lift pump overide to switch it off, what do i need to clear this wee anoying problem.

A-a new barrell
B-is it fixable
C-both the above, and where is best to pick one up???

New switch is probably the way forward, fits beneath the barrel so no need to change keys. Any of the usual suspects should be able to supply one - Craddocks, Paddocks etc online or a local Independent - Strathearn, Lix, etc etc.
