Defender front shocks
« on: February 04, 2012, 02:43:33 PM »
Hi,

Just checking, cos it didn't quite look right to me;

Should the bottom of the front shocks be touching the top of the front axle? (has a 2" lift)

Any feedback welcome.

Depends on how tight you have squeezed the bushes..... I had a set that did...

Basically, there's two rubber donuts either side of the spring-plate: if they are nice & thick, then the tip of the spring will be well away from the casing.... if they are squished tight, the tip will be against the casing
