Off roading in the North East
« on: December 28, 2011, 04:08:09 PM »
Hey guys

Anybody on here ever do any Offroading in the Dundee, Perth or Aberdeen area?

I stay in Aberdeen but my folks are in Forfar and thats where i do all the work on my car. Just fancied doing a bit more offroad, keep checking the website but there never seems to be any local events.

Ive got a V8 Disco with a lift and some All Terrains.

Im not massively experienced and dont want to do anything too hardcore as my Disco is my everyday car.

Cheers

Hi, I live in North Angus and work in Aberdeen and likewise struggle to find much locally without attending organised events.

One of the best pay and play places I have been to is Newtonhill (just over the water from Dundee).  I've been there in all weathers and there is something for everyone.

www.newtonhillatv.co.uk

There is also Tay 4x4 Club and Edzell Off Road club who have regular meets, a quick look at their websites will show if they are your cup of tea or not.

www.eorc.co.uk

I am not a member of either but am considering looking closer.
