Quite a log of threads on the landyzone website re this, and from what I recall the TD5 isn't suitable for bio..... I have read of people running them successfully on filtered used engine oil mixed with diesel. Not tried it myself though.....too scared!

would the filtered used engine oil not be classed as evading duty
i was under the impression that the used engine oil was to hide the fact it was red diesel

For anyone that is running Bio in a suitable vehicle this winter, this might be of interest to you.
This or similar may be in the Commercial stuff you are buying.
Anyone that produces their own may need it.

Used engine - look up Black Diesel. I can't work out if you can make upto 2500l like bio or if you need to pay duty

call customs and excise and ask them      better use a call box so they cant trace your number       the clue in looking up black diesel is when they use the word gasoline              just think of every man and his dog heating diesel and engine oil to mix it there will be fires and dead bodies all over the country         stay safe stay legal stay alive

Hey George you are a star that site has alsorts of goodies, also re td5 heard it,s a no but unconfirmed you need to know model of pump it's always done to the pump if you go for it watch out for cheap oil through the "used veggie oil club"
