Should have been ready for this summer but will complete during winter for next summer. Getting ready for the dreaded IVA  so will look a bit odd until it passes with silly mirrors and rear view camera etc and jacked up to look like a 4x4 to get the lights at the right height for testing!!

Hi Robin

Am thinking of changing my racer for next year so the current one is up for sale and might suit you.  Bit over your budget but a good spec reliable, strong car, finished 2nd in the Scottish Cross Country Championship 2011, 7th in 2010 and 4th in 2008.  Will be at the Borders Hillrally this weekend Car zero.  Am happy to gave you any advice too irrespective of whether you are interested in this car or not.  Always keen to see new competitors and encourage them where possible.

Ok guys thanks for the help.

I am currently looking at a couple of options then.  will post back what way I have decided to go.
Are lightweights allowed to compete in most of the SLROC events?

This lightweight is a bit non-standard to say the least but Billy Phillips could fill you in on the details as he is a regular visitor to the forum.

Apart from the V8 and the coil springs... and the gearbox... and the roll-cage... it's pretty standard :D
