How much for a series 1?

Been offered a series 1 Landie think it an 80 0r could be an 88 canvas is good so is body and chassis  non runner at mo,how much are series 1s worth? As haven't a clue,have only had series 3s n 2As,have always wanted Series 2 or a series 1 would be the  ultimate, so a rough price guide would be appreciated and things to look out  for it's  a petrol two and a quarter, been offered for a ?1000 but could get for less, been off road a good few years but was tidy when last I mind of it, all help Apriciated thanks James

Rebuilt ones in good condition seem to be anywhere between 4 to 8k. Have seen one for 14k (pristine, complete rebuild).
I think 80'' is worth more as not so many earliest ones about.

Thats my take on current market anyway.

Thanks for that I think if I was able to get for ?800 would be laughing  have not seen yet but was good nic when last I saw

An 80" for ?800 would be a good deal, particularly if it is in good condition.  Get yourself onto www.lrsoc.com for the low down!

Check out Autotrader to see what ?800 gets you. 3 on at the mo from one extreme to the other.
