I trashed my exhaust at Bathgate and need to replace it.

I have an exhaust on order but what type of bolts do I need to use on the clamps, is there a particular material, I'm sure there must be?

no standard , exhaust bolts generally aren't even 8.8 they are made of any old crap, clamps are very easily stripped and broken,
manifold bolts are different tho, they are usually hardened and may use brass nuts,
if you are buying a exhaust then order the fitting kit too it will be about ?10 and come with the rubber hangers etc
