hi all, as above, i need four tubes to suit a 245,70,16 tyre. not paying dealer prices. or a set of mods, must be tubeless. for a series. the closer to dundee the better. thanks.

I've got 5 white modulars sitting in Glasgow with some AT on. Tyres are tread legal but a bit cracked so don't know if they're servicable. They came off a S3 with the intention of putting them on my S2a but that's unlikely to happen.

25 quid each fitted sounds right, tubes are around a tenner each , main tyre dealers often won't fit your own tyres/wheels smaller places will
i take it you are trying to fit tyres onto tubeless rims with the bigger valve hole?   if so another option is to get bigger valves to fit the holes, i got some couple of years ago from a tyre place that did farm and truck stuff

I have four tubes with the big valves,they are heavy duty ,they came with a new set of tyres,i removed them and fitted tubeless.

I got tubes for my 235/85/16 wheels from County Tyres in Grangemouth for ?13+vat fitted. So I think ?25 is a bit much.
I also tried to get the bigger valves but could not get them and tubed rims don't have the extra ridge on the rims for tubeless tyres to seal on.

Thanks for the replys. I'm trying to fit 245/70/16 m/t's onto series rims. They need the inner tubes. I have tubes for 7.50 series tyres but they won't do. Anyone willing to post some tubes to dundee? or point me in the direction of a decent place up this way. Thanks again.

I forgot to ask. How much for the mods? Glasgow is a bit for for me
but may be interested if they are cheap enough. Also the tubes price wasn't fitted. That was for the tubes. They wanted an extra ?20 plus vat to fit them. Each.

Give County tyres a call I'm sure they would post them up to you.They are very easy to deal with.
