System Redundancy!

Had a small issue with the main winch the other week when it did not wind in, so been looking at building in some resilience.

So if twin motors is good, what about four?  ;D

What say you Sooty?  :P

looks great, maybe one or two of those motors would look better on my series though.   :P

Been done by gigglepin, 4 12v bow 2's overvolted to 24v

They will all break just the same,
Started out with nothing,
Still have most of it left

Does that not depend on the operator and if theres welsh air in the mix, all should be fine  ;D

Now you wouldnt want to argue with THAT on a single track road would you!!.... :o   :D

Think the MOT guy might have an issue with the headlights being hidden... :P

.....silly question perhaps  - but why not stick one VERY large motor on it ? Must be some weird gearing to get all 4 motors driving ?
