hi all has anyone swapped the spigot shaft from a 19j'd defender box  into a 200tdi disco box my 90's box is dying and i have a complete 200tdi disco for a transplant but been told that the shaft is too long so its either fix/swap or look for a standared 19j gearbox  :-\ thanks in advance

The problem is the BELLHOUSING - the Disco bellhousing is way longer than the old Defender boxes.
