Hi wanted to introduce myself, im based in the NE, originally come from the West coast and have been over this side for 20 odd years, member of the local club BORDC but due to never finishing a motor have little offroad experience although I have plenty experience of building offroaders  ;D

I am currently building / driving a 1990 RRC which has a good body (already been welded) but things like the suspension lift (aluminium blocks under springs) will be changed and most recent activity was replacing a leaking exhaust gasket which due to 1 stripped thread, 1 sheared bolt and one bolt off at a tangent I am about to replace both heads on the V8, think its just my luck that im under the bonnet while events are being held  :'(  ;D
Hope to pick up tips, sell stuff, buy stuff, maybe eventually join the club  :o  :D

Des good to hear from you again, I still have a Kawa GTR1000 or rather 2 of them one in bits and 1 I bought jist afore xmas which is still up in Shetland, got shot of the Disco and got a nice 1990 rangie V8 which I am slowly preparing when time prevails, still running around in my Lexus LS400, you still got the Landy ?
