Just a word of warning, I had a lucky escape from potential o/heating on my 110 TD5. I had noticed a very slight coolant loss but could not see any leak initially. I eventually found the top rad hose clip was broken approx. 3/4 rs of the way around the circumference. The break was on the underside of the hose and not readily visible from the top. The clip was one of the spring type & not the traditional jubilee type, as soon as I put the pliers on the ends of the clip to open it the break became obvious and the short end broke away. The solution was to replace it with a traditional type jubilee clip & top up the A/F. Luckily I have a manic habit of checking my oil, coolant etc levels. Had this occurred 3 days later I could have been stranded on the Snowman Rally! A cheap fix which could have been expensive if not found!
I intend to change the rest of the clips ASAP. I suspect that these spring type clips are cheaper but I will stick to traditional jubilees in future.

Allan
