I need help you may have a winch on your Landy so tell me how do you get the wire un stuck  we have managed to get a 82mm x220ft wire rapped round a 22780bhp boat thrusters  ??? ??? yip the **** has hit the fan lol :D

Any suggestions for the dumb ass captain? ::)

thats sounds great but they are pulling the rig :D and the other end is on the anchor im sure the grown ups will think of sumthing or blame the wee guys.

i think that could just be the plan but they will spend $100000000 then think
"we better get a wee man in a wet suit with a nail-file because we dont really know what we are talking about".

i think i will put it to them in the meeting but they will say no thats to much money then word it so they came up with it and make them selfs look good. bloody grown ups!

they will fbreak it or fix it my money is on break it.

Just finished a pig of a rig shift myself in Egypt, ours was interesting, but not as interesting as that!

Not quite on the same scale, but last year at Dunbar our dive boat captain reversed over a mooring line and got it wrapped around the shaft. Luckily we had a few divers on board  ;D ;D and it was low tide so we could actually push on the bottom, but it satill took 2 of us over and hour to cut the rope away using hacksaws and knives. Good luck with your bigger scale version!  :'( :'(
