Dunno about in town but out here Royal Mail/Parcel Force are about the best. Almost all the others either get lost or sub-contract the final delivery to AJG.  Parcel Force got my wrecked steering box down to Craddocks in two days and were not that expensive.

On the other hand I heard a series of horror stories about DHL during the snow...
If its not broken you are not trying hard enough....

I too used them, decent young fella called Tom runs it out of Elderslie, good service and reliable, brought my wheels from Devon to home and was the best price I could find.
I also bought some seats from him for my 90.

I used this site a fair bit, you can choose what service you want and the cost.

I have used Parcel to go for a good few years, generally always done what they say and importantly when it does go wrong they were efficient at sorting the issue out.
They also do pallet deliveries.

Thanks for sll the links - plenty to go on here.  I contacted Paisley Freight and tried describing what I was wanting sent up and he simply asked the e-bay number, I gave him the weight and dimensions and he gave me a price about quarter that of others.  Very helpful.  I'll just have to see if I win what I'm looking at

Thanks for the help
