Thanks to all who replied to my problem with my remote key fob not operating the alarm. I did get the EKA code which got me in a couple of times but that was after several trys. Once I started the car the red alarm light was out as it should be, it stayed out when I switched off the engine, removed the key, got out and closed the door. BUT, as soon as i locked the door with the key, the alarm light came on again. Am I doing something wrong?
I think someone posted a reply about by-passing the immobilisor with wires to the starter solenoid and the fuel pump but can't find it now. I'd rather have a car that I could actually use, than one that has an alarm that even stops me using it............
Any further help would be appreciated,
