I am thinking of selling the Bowler due to the fact that I am not using it at all at the moment and it's time someone else had fun in it. For those who have been in the club for a while, you will know it as Chris Kinross' old car.

Built by Drew Bowler, the car has competed for a number of years and I now have a fair spares collection which would be sold with the car. It's running a 3.9 on carbs with an ARC log book and Fox shocks all round. Most of you will know the spec of the car better than me; but if you are interested in the car; drop me a pm or give me a call and I can tell you more about it and you are welcome to view the car at my lockup near Edinburgh Airport.

I will also be selling the trailer that I use and my Disco towcar. However, the Disco is an absolute bucket, trust me - you don't want to buy it.

not interested in the bowler, too much cash for me but whats the disco, 200 or 300? whats the engine and other running gear like. might be looking for a donor soon,. thanks, jon

The Disco is a 300tdi ES Auto (I think the ES stands for Everything Shagged).

It's been my towcar for the Bowler for the last two years or so and it's certainly seen better days. It's done 120k or so and the engine seems fine, but I think it only generates about 4bhp at the flywheel (This could be a trait of all 300 tdi's - I'm not really an expert on them).

It's MOT'd til July this year and taxed until April. Oh; and from memory, there's about 1/2 a tank of diesel in it.

so worth about a tenner then  lol. seriously let me know what you want for it either whole or in bits. im thinking of taking the 3,9 v8 out the disco and popping in a deisel.

88" Drew Bowler built
Fully road registered
ARC log book
I am happy to put 12 months MOT on if required (No MOT at present)
I'm afraid it's not free tax though
3.9 on SU carbs (Head gaskets done last season)
Auto Box with remote cooler
Recent harnesses
Driver / co driver intercom
Gel battery (Only 1 year old)
Remote oil filter
Recent Fox shocks all round with two spares (Although one of the spares is a little bent)
Currently wearing Diamond's on steel wheels

Loads of spares that will be going with the car:
Front axle
Diff
4 or 5 Swivels (Ready to bolt on)
Loads of radius arms
Springs
Jerry cans
Tow rope
Full set of 6 A/T's on wheels for Borders Hill Rally
Loads of bushes and other general bits

I will go out to the lockup this weekend and take some more photos and list everything in detail.

I have been advised by several people that the car is worth in the region of ?5,000 and this is what I am looking for.

I will list details of the Disco on another post once I have got the details ready for that too. The trailer is a Brian James A Series tilt bed in good condition (2 ton load capacity). I will take picture of both of these at the weekend also.

The tomcat has performed well at club level comps, and has competed in a number of Hill Rallies.

It may net be the fastest vehicle on the scene, but its probably one of the best for learning your craft!

Fancy a PX with a ?4500 downhill mountain bike lol. 4 pot calipers front and rear 205mm drilled rotors, 9 inches of travel at back 7 at front. Fox shock at rear the front forks marzochii monster T,s. Point it down a hill and get ready to terrify yourself i reccomend fort william was clocked at 50-60mph there thats faster than my old 19j 110. Fuel econemy is great runs on Human100%Oct. Beer is a good addative adds fearlessness to the carb settings. Tax free, insurance free and MOT free.

Great motor oneday i will own a fast landy for comp safaris i like the look of that.

I hate to say this but i will there is a club in Devon i found on google oneday and their mad on your sort of motor id put it up for sale there. Im not a memeber of said club btw just they seem to shift high end motors well.
