Pm you but i just remembered this engine did have a running issue. Started nicely but the starter was shagged worked but sounded like its about to seize or fail. Once runnign was fine for about 15 mins then developed missfiring and spluttering. Probably just a good service needed and new filters but id rather not sell it now i would feel real bad if you got it in for it too Fookup. Ill repair the engine first then sell it.

On a another note why just not track down a disco? you can pinch the axles,transferbox,radiator,power steering box,loads of bits and the engine is seriously easy to remove managed 3 engines on my own now just taking time and making sure not to drop it on myslef. Hardest part is the top bolt on the bellhousing not the best poition for a bolt. You can get to it with 4ft of extenstion bars if their the wobble type or i just loosen the rest and use a prybar in the bellhousing to gearbox join and snap the bell housing free. Breaks the top of the bellhousing around the bolt. Dont need the bellhousing if you take ur original engine one then it mates right up to your gearbox. i paid ?350 for a 200tdi and ?250 for a 300tdi.
