New Newsletter - call for articles
« on: November 26, 2010, 08:41:38 AM »
I have been asked to produce a traditional Newsletter to be posted in time for Christmas. It would help greatly if anyone prepared to submit an article - large or small - would do so as soon as possible and no later than 4th December. If you have supporting photographs please send them separately from the text (i.e. do not bury them in Microsoft Word!) at the highest resolution available.

Send by email to sandyyoung@specialist-services.com or on CD to 21 Corrour Road, Glasgow, G43 2DY.

Thanks,

Sandy.

Deadline three days away!

Still only two articles received. :(

Lots of complaints about lack of newsletters, but if nobody will submit material to go in it.................no newsletter!

Article submitted!

Please help support Sandy in his quest for articles by putting fingers to keyboards...

It doesn't need to be much and I am sure there are some 'interesting' snow adventures out there that could be shared...

A lot of members' activity gets reported through the forum, along with many good quality pictures. Perhaps someone could use that as a resource to prepare stuff for the printed newsletter for those who haven't seen it already on screen.

P.S.  Not me!

The pictures I am sure are easy enough to be taken from forum and used, I agree.

The reports here on most activities are very brief and the articles would need a little bit more elaboration to constitute as an article - the basics are there and it wouldn't take much for the person who reported on an activity on the forum to expand it a little and submit for the newsletter.
