ok was up at perth for a weekend holiday back tomorrow early morning and got this picture through from my father in law,,,,,,

i asked why he would not stick to the tracks and he said its a land rover it should not get stuck.......

he said its just sunk in but i have not seen it yet,,,,, he said he has tried to dig it out with no joy!!!!

any way im back home tomorrow (trenent eh33) around 8am to see it........

Could someone please nearby help me out as i think it may need towed or whinched out i will make it worth your while with ?20 and a case of beer (your choice), offered by my father in law, anytime tomorrow,

All land rovers get stuck at some time or another but it does help if you take account of how the vehicle is set up.

Maybe your FiL should log into the forum and have a look at the pictures, he might not feel so bad.

Im maybe late not sure when this was posted but im near tranent if thats tranent east loathian? on monday evening if its still stuck i can come try give a hand then park my 110 stuck right infront  ;D.

have a look at the Drumclog thread, I think 99% got stuck.

Some even needed 2 winches  :D :D :D

a big thanks to everyone that offered to help and a big thanks for steve to come down and get stuck aswell ;D

when i got back home i went for a walk to see my disco and this is what i found





then steve was kind enough to head down and 10 mins later when it failed to get towed out backwards, this is what happened when steve thought he would try and tow it out forwards  ::),





anyway a tractor later we got them free'd (no pics as got dark).....

what a nice bonding experiance.. :D

All in the name of fun  ;D

Aye just a bit! Thought it would be worth tying a pull from the front but in trying to move the RR the ground went a bit squidgy and I grounded out >:(

In the end it needed at least 2 landys or a tractor to get the disco out, it had sunk up to the chassis rails and there wasn't solid enough ground for one vehicle to get a decent grip.

Yes i got stuck with 110 getting Doug from similar situation,thankfully a Slroc member on the other end of phone
