believe its in dunbar (any clarification on this?) tyro is non damaging, ideal for factory fresh motors. i tyro-d my 2005 freelander within a few weeks of buying it. it was less than 3 years old when i bought it. didnt damage a freebie on it so a 90 is safe. a good session with a jet wash afterwards is all that should be needed.
tyros are laid out to avoid damage, even paintwork should be safe from scratches

basicaly its work your way through a course marked by canes. you mustnt stop or hit a cane. the further you get clear the lower your score. lowest score wins. its listed as a competition but theres not many take it seriously, its purely fun. ive done it for over 2 years now...dont think ive ever ended in single figures lol

its ideal for all abilities. as everyone first walks the section then everyone drives the same section its unlikely that you would find something damaging. i know when i tyro-d freebie (obviously lack of underbody clearance) if there was any chance of something damaging my motor it was pointed out to me before we started. if theres anything that your concerned about then speak up, andy doesnt want any motors damaged.

however with experience you will be surprised how much your motor will shrug off. i remember a driver with a rather strong attachment to her motor :P being concerned about a section. we watched another motor drive the same section and although the ground looked like it would shake the motor to bits, the motor just brushed it off, barely noticed the ditches. if you dont want to be first on a section then say. if you have any concerns then say. theres no presure

ps; if/when you do get stuck you will be expected to pose for photos before being pulled out ;)

Alan,
Welcome to the club / forum.

Dont worry about the tyro's,I do them.  I have a shiny :) :) and tend to be very careful with it so much so that some cheeky chap was taking pictures of it because I had a splash of mud on it, smart a**e.(you know who you are ;D)

Try and keep boxing day clear we have a really good driving competition then.
If you have any questions you can always drop someone a PM, we are a very helpful bunch.
