sandblasting sand

  looking for sandblasting shot/beads/grit for a sandblasting cabenit ive heard of place in west lothian ? but he dident know where it is  thanks dave

I think Machine Mart do it not too sure if its competetive in terms of price tho

ebay?? my partners brother use very fine beach sand for his blasting. just strain it to get all the bigger bits out, he even re uses it.

thanks  ave tried them but ad be skint before a got enough to fill up the blaster  :(

thanks but i would preffer to use the sand/beads with out silcon in it , was reading about how useing sands not for it casuses silcoses a lung probluem dont mind paying for right sands etc but need large qty and if i buy from ebay etc postage ad be skint   thanks dave

have you tried asking the shot blasting specialists?? maybe they will sell you some at trade prices.

Have you tried Cromwell Tools, there is a branch in Bellshill and Glenrothes Fife, they do dozens of different types of blast media for different applications and come in multiples of 25kg bags, mind and ask for discount.
