Can anyone recommend a good supplier of a replacement chassis for a land rover series 2a, best quality/price ?

Yes Bill it is, there a a few patches needed so I was considering getting a nice new replacement.

Is Richards the only manafacture that does series 2a to origional specification ? Has anyone used them and would they recommend them ? I thought there was some one up here in Scotland that made chassis but I can't find any information on them.

Hi Luke

There did used to be a chap in Duns who made chassis although I am pretty sure he is no longer doing this. Marsland seem to have stopped Series production and only do Defender stuff. A friend in Yorkshire has just ordered a chassis from Richards for his 2A, I think they seemed the best or only supplier. Delivery is 4 - 6 weeks apparently.
