Hi all,

My wifes younger sister is over for the week and she is bored I was wondering if there is any pay and play sites where I could take her in my defender 110 for a play so that she could have a wee drive (She is 17 and can drive but has no license). I

All advice and help is appreciated,  I live in the east side of Glasgow.

Drumclog on the A71 (Strathaven-Kilmarnock road) great pay and play site, but some parts are not for the faint hearted, the farmer, Kenny Telford, will not let you on unless there are other vehicles already there for obvious safety reasons.

All these sites seem good, if there is anybody else out there who is going to a site would u mind us joining along? as I wouldnt like to get stuck as my Lrover has no winch.

My wifes sister is over waiting for the impending birth of our first child which is overdue and I am on holidays now as well so any day would be fine for Alex and I (birth of first child depending)


My landrover has a 2" lift but no dif guards and Bridgeton All terrian Tyres, Ive driven Landrovers on and of for 16 years so have some limited cross country 4 x 4 experience

Its mainly used for when I go hillwalking and scuba diving so I wouldnt really like to roll it or brake anything.

Althrough Ive got limited mechanical experience for fixing things afterwards.

there is a club weekend in 2 weeks time at coulport. if i was off id of been happy to join you

this Sunday afternoon be good for Shandon only if James can come as I might have to do it in disco unless I get 110 sorted by the end of this week

Sunday would be good for me and my wee  sister in Law at Shandon if that is good for you mate,

Inverness is Prob a bit to far as Im waiting for my wife to give birth at any time.

The baby will prob get induced on tue if no movement by then so coming to the coulport driving day prob wont be an option as I will be up to my eyes in dirty nappies and screaming chld :-)
