I am trying to decide whether to joiin the club,What activites do the club have  in the edinburgh area

i did suggest an offroad course round leith walk but it was voted down due to the severe terrain and the fact the club likes to do an event in one day(can take a fortnight to navigate leith walk thanks to these t****s)

i hail from the same building site, west edinburgh myself.....being honest we are pretty central for most events. most competitions/driving days etc are in the central belt, within an hours drive anyway(bathgate, torphican etc). green road runs for me usualy involve 2/3 hours as most are north and west. pay and play fun days outwith the official club we often go to lamancha(penicuik) or glentarkie. other places are a longer run but thats life lol

theres a fair few of us in or near edinburgh

am a gino's man myself lol. almost fainted when i found out how much they pizzas were. least i wasnt paying for them, they were for drunken mates with the munchies lol

If anyone is organising a trip to one of the centres ,let me know.camping would be good as well.

folk often do post open invites to who ever wants to come on these trips. had some very enjoyable days outwith the 'official' events

The Club tends to have events fairly spread-out across the central belt.
There are a few events that happen over at Bathgate, and sometimes we've an event down near Dunbar.... but the Pentlands are, as a rule, a no-go area for us.

thats a pity, spent my youth walking the pentlands, would be nice to drive them for a change since am now fat and lazy . there is a few tracks, obviously for farmers etc but you get some great views over the city from up there
