Here is a good guide http://www.glencoyne.co.uk/200di2.htm, although it is with out the turbo.

i will try get some pics on friday we did my mates its a 200tdi with a 300tdi disco turbo and manifold on it it all fits much better as the turbo sits in a diferent position i think we used 2.5na engine mounts onto the tdi , gearbox bolts on with the removal of the pegs i think.
we also fitted the 200tdi disco diffs found them better than an overdrive.

Hope the link works. This is from the 2a club forum and this one is specifically regarding a 200TDi into 2a 109 but it's all good info.

http://www.series2club.info/forum/index.php?topic=26580.0

Here's another one from the same forum, this is an older copy taken from the Glencoyne website and has some good info and pictures from before he updated his website.

And finally, one more.

Cheers,

Danny.

Definitely no cutting required for an 88 if the chassis is standard. There's issues with the turbo fouling on the top nearside chassis rail on a 109 the can be fixed by clocking the turbo (I think?) or using a defender manifold (I think again?!). Once again you shouldn't need to chop the chassis to fit a 200TDi into a series motor.

definitly don't cut the chassis i am sure the one we did uses a disco 200 motor with a 300 manifold and turbo then we used a standard 300tdi decat pipe for the front cut halfway back to clear the gearbox crossmember
