I am somewhat vertically challenged and from a family of short a***s so was hoping someone had a neat trick to help.

Thanks,

Tommy
ahhh, so much potential mickey taking, so little time. How did I miss this, I need to change jobs again to normal hours lol  :)

Why is it that in order to overcome the inferiority complex caused by owning a J**p, some people have to result to insulting normal vehicle owners. ::) ::)

I dismay at the modern youth ;) ;)

Take one flipping heck large roof rack

Cover the roof of vehicle with carpet underlay

Get 4 people one at each corner

Lift rack to the rear of the vehicle (blocking of street is optional :D :D)

Raise rack to overhead height

Walk down the sides of the vehicle

Lower rack to gutters

Bolt onto vehicle and hey presto its done ;D ;D

Sounds easy but took about an hour to get all the bolts tightened.

Biggest problem was getting the support legs passed the rubber seals on the Alpine windows

So spill the beans who was it you met at Kilmacolm?? Do I owe him money :D :D

Solution to roofrack problem and being a short a**e:- Hore a dini migger, sorry mini digger, dig a big hole with a ramp into it and drive the LR down into the hole.  The depth of the hole depends on the degree of shorta**edness
